Dear Brethren:
Due to Betty's problem I did not think it wise to try to make the trip to Florida for the Winter Conference, but I understand that all went along very well without us, and we were the only ones to lose. Betty's physical health has been pretty good this past year and we just take it one day at a time with her other problem.
Here at First Baptist Church in Science Hill, I and another former missionary have been teaching classes on soul winning. I have taught five sessions, and now we are going to start class participation trying to better prepare as many as will attend to better serve the Lord.
First Baptist did reach our Thanksgiving Mission Offering goal of fifteen thousand dollars that we divided equally among all the missionaries we support. We now have raised our goal for 2007 to nineteen thousand. The church also voted to take a special offering for this fund on each fifth Sunday of the year. Although our congregation is not all that large, I believe we will once again reach our goal. I would also like to encourage other churches to set similar goals and then strive to reach them. Our missionaries deserve better than we are giving them.
In His Name,
Bobby D. Creiglow
