Dear Brethren:

Before leaving to attend the Winter Conference in Florida, I took Betty to the doctor for treatment of a bad chest cold, but the medication prescribed by the doctor did not do much good, so needless to say, we did not have a very good time while there. In fact, it was a very difficult time. When we returned I took her to our family doctor and after about two weeks, she was almost back to normal from the cold. I only get a cold about once every three to four years, so it is now my turn and I am in my second week of it.

We did have the pleasure of having Brother and Sister Harold Draper in our home for one weekend, and it was very good for me to be able to talk about the work that they, Betty, and I had a part in. Brother Harold preached both services here at First Baptist and as always, he was at his very best. We thank him for spending the time with us.

The following Sunday after the Drapers left, First Baptist Church of Science Hill, Kentucky, upon the request of Brother Ed Massey, voted to call me as associate pastor, and I have accepted. I told the pastor I did not need a title to do whatever I could, but it was done anyway. Now we will see whether I will be able to live up to the church's expectations.

In His Name,

Bobby D. Creiglow
