Dear Brethren:
One more month has passed and it seems I do not have much more news to report than I had last month, but I will give it a try.
Of course the main event of the month was the Spring Missions Conference hosted by Pastor David Parks and Thompson Road Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky. The conference was well attended, the preaching was excellent, the kitchen was at their very best, and the fellowship was just great. The theme of the conference was, "A LIFESTYLE OF GIVING" with the goal for every member of every church represented to create this type of lifestyle so that the mission work of Baptist Faith Missions might expand. I had the privilege of speaking the last night, and my subject was, "A life style of LIVING that leads to A LIFE STYLE OF GIVING."
There are nine young people here in First Baptist Church that will be going with Randy and Barbara Jones to Brazil. Randy and Barbara are the directors of Missions Adventure that from time to time take groups to the mission field to work for a week or two with the missionaries, knowing those who go will have their lives changed forever. Those who go pay their own way and also send money ahead for the project they will be working on while there. Randy and Barbara do this work on behalf of Baptist Faith Missions at their own expense.
The trip to Brazil is complete with personnel, but there will be other trips, so why don't you start making plans to go with them on their next trip to whichever field they might select? It will forever change your life, and you will return with a lifestyle of giving, of yourself and your money.
In Christ,
Bobby D. Creiglow
