Dear Brethren:

Up until this morning I had forgotten about writing a Missions Sheet Letter, and I have should have done it several days ago, but I hope it will not be too late to get to the printer.

A group of nine from our church went with Randy and Barbara Jones and Mission Adventure team to Brazil. Among these were our pastor and his family, so with the pastor being gone it has been my pleasure to fill the pulpit. I have thoroughly enjoyed myself while they are gone, but I along with the church will be happy to have them back. We have had regular reports and pictures of their activities, and it appears they are having a great experience. They have visited some of the works that Betty and I were involved in, and when our Pastor, Brother Ed Massey, called me relating some of their experiences they had with some that were blessed by our ministry, it caused great emotions to swell up in my heart, and I praised the Lord.

Betty and I are doing just fine, and are very happy here in Science Hill, Kentucky. I am also busy making plans for our third annual Missions Conference to be here at First Baptist Church on October 3-4-5-6. We hope to have with John and Alta Hatcher, Paul and Wanda Hatcher, and Mike and Beverly Creiglow. Sheridan and Anita Stanton have also been invited.

Whenever Randy and Barbara take the next Mission Adventure group, to whichever country they might select, why don't you plan to go with them? It will change your life for the better, for missions.
