Dear Brethren,

On Sunday after the Baptist Faith Missions Conference hosted by Storms Creek Baptist Church, I was with the Temple Baptist Church of Wilmington, Ohio, as supply preacher while Pastor Andy Doherty and his family were on vacation. Betty was not feeling well that day, so she stayed home. I had a very enjoyable afternoon with Andy's in-laws, Brother and Sister Moyers, as well as a great time of fellowship with the church.

The following weekend while visiting our daughters in South Carolina, we attended Bounty Land Baptist Church and Tri-City Baptist.

The third weekend, upon the invitation of Pastor Sherl Thomas, we were with the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Irvine, Kentucky. This church is just three years old, has a great congregation, and is enjoying a good steady growth. There was a great Sunday night crowd. They all seemed to enjoy the presentation of the work of Baptist Faith Missions that they had just recently started supporting. They were an encouragement to Betty and me.

Labor Day weekend we were in Springfield, Illinois, where we attended and participated in the first missions conference of East Keys Baptist Church. The preaching was great and the music was just as good as the preaching. The brethren, along with Pastor Cliff Presley, indicated they are already looking forward to next year and plan to make it an annual event. We all want to thank them for a job well done.

I trust all of us will be faithful to contribute to the general fund of Baptist Faith Missions so that our missionaries cannot only continue their work, but that they might expand it.

In His name,

Bobby D. Creiglow

P.S. During the month I also visited with the River View Baptist Church, Point Pleasant, West Virginia, where Brother Merle Wood is the Pastor.
