Dear Brethren:
Last month in my effort to get our Missions Conference here at First Baptist up and running, I forgot to write a letter for the Mission Sheet, and I apologize for that.
Our conference was held the first week of October with Missionaries doing the preaching, and they were at their very best. Brother David Parks brought us up to date on the activities of Baptist Faith Missions on two different nights. This was our third annual conference, and each year it gets a little better. I was somewhat disappointed in the lack of attendance of our own people, but they are the ones that missed the blessings.
I have had the opportunity to preach and teach here in our church this month and yesterday we went to Richmond, Kentucky for the fifth Sunday service at Calvary Baptist Church, where after a very good lunch prepared by the ladies, I preached in the 2:00 PM services to a very good crowd. The Lord added three to their congregation that afternoon, two by letter, and one by baptism. Betty and I were members of this church for several years where Bobby Greene is pastor, and it was good to be back in fellowship with all of them again.
Betty and I are doing just fine and enjoying the blessings of the Lord with the brethren here at First Baptist Church in Science Hill, Kentucky.
In His Name,
Bobby D. Creiglow
