Dear Brethren:
At the directors meeting of Baptist Faith Missions it was projected that, to meet the monthly expenses from the General Fund until next November, $85,000.00 for this Thanksgiving Offering would be needed, so we encourage each church to not only give a special offering, but to increase your monthly offerings. Although the Thanksgiving Conference has passed, it is not too late to get in on the blessings. Some churches even wait until the end of the year to send their offerings, and that is fine, so we ask you to consider this need and just follow the Lord in doing whatever He tells you to do. We want our missionaries to have whatever it takes to get the job done. They also need a raise in salary. We also want to see more God called missionaries supported through Baptist Faith Missions.
From time to time some ask how Betty is doing; physically she is doing pretty well, although, even that seems to go in cycles. As you know, we have not been able to do much traveling for some time now, but we did go to the Thanksgiving Conference in Dearborn Heights where Terry Adkins is pastor, but all the time we were there and for several days after, she was very much confused. She still does not know who I am most of the time. We are both doing well under the circumstances. I would like for us to be able to go to the Winter Conference in Florida, but we will just wait to see how things will go between now and then.
The Lord is still blessing all of us here at First Baptist Church in Science Hill, Kentucky. We are now working on a project teaching the congregation how to be soul winners and I am thankful to be having a part in the teaching and learning.
In His Name,
Bobby D. Creiglow
