Dear Brethren,

Several years ago I had to adjust my priorities, and I came to the conclusion that I had to either take care of my ministry, or my wife, with a mental health condition that continues to decline. The Lord gave Betty to me sixty-one years ago, long before He saved me, at which time I vowed to love and care for her until death do us part. Several years ago that care became a twenty-four-seven responsibility, and this is my first priority; it comes before all others, even the ministry. We are now receiving help from "Alzheimer's Respite Center" that cares for her six hours per day, Monday through Friday. The center gives her better care than I can give her. Looking in retrospect, as near as I can tell, signs began to appear about fifteen years ago, although I did not recognize them at the time. We have no idea how many years we still have, but I do understand the disease is terminal. Those sixty-one years have been very sweet and getting better every day. The Lord is being very good to both of us and we are grateful.

I have done no preaching nor teaching since my last letter, but I have had more time to study and pray.

It is time for those New Year's resolutions concerning our giving to the General Fund for the missionaries of Baptist Faith Missions. Let us make them, and then strive to keep them. We must be forward a year ago. II Corinthians 8:10.

In His Name,

Bobby D. Creiglow
