Dear Friends,

This past week I spoke with Edinei who has taken on his first pastorate. He had the task of dealing with some delicate issues in the church which arose immediately after we left. He and his new wife, Debora, sought the Lord in prayer and Bible study and God was gracious and gave them wisdom on how to deal with the situation in loving leadership. I have just heard from them again and those issues seem to be settled. We thank God for giving them the grace to go through this learning experience and trust that it will serve to mature them as effective ministers in the future.

The evangelistic ministry, Project Life, is ready to resume early in February. Paulo had to do several repairs on the motorhome that is used in this ministry. He says that it is ready to roll again and that the ministry team is getting itself prepared to hit the road. They will spend at least one month in the interior of the state of Parana preaching and witnessing. We are grateful for the offerings that we've received toward this ministry that God has so greatly used. We trust that in this new year that the Lord will continue to bring people to know Him through Project Life. I will be in contact with Paulo on a regular basis to work out the best way possible to get new mission points started with those many folks who we trust will be saved this year. We plan to send at least one couple on the trips to prayerfully consider the best city to begin a new church. We'd like to see new churches in every town that they reach with the gospel, but we need more folks. Please pray with us that God would send "forth laborers into the harvest."

I have my nose in the books here in Louisville, Kentucky. Or, at least, that is what Charlene and the kids would say. We are also having some marvelous opportunities for fellowship with the folks of the churches who have invited us to speak. We are eager to be with all of you who'd like for us to share with you what God is doing through our ministry. You may contact us at the above phone number and address (e-mail also).

Charlene and the kids are adapting pretty quickly to Stateside living. There are too many options in the grocery stores and it takes about twice as long to get out of there. Jessie is adjusting to studying in English and Brennen is starting Kindergarten. They are having to jump into the middle of the school year so the transition is a little difficult. We think that it is good for them to have to do this as it will help them prepare for greater challenges along the way in life. We pray that God use them greatly in their lives to share the gospel with folks who don't have the opportunity to hear about Christ's love for them.

We thank you all for your faithful prayers and support and trust that God will bless you for them.

In Jesus' love,

Bobby, Charlene, Jessie and Brennen Wacaser
