Dear Friends,

Bro. Paulo called me a few weeks ago and was really excited about how the Lord is blessing the Project Life ministry. He and the team added a new dimension to the outreach on the weekends. On weekdays they preach and minister in public schools, and on Saturday nights they usually hold open air meetings in the city parks and squares. As a new approach, they started cutting hair for free as a way to gain an opportunity to share the gospel with their "customers." During the month of April several people accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior through this ministry. We thank those of you who pray and give so that Project Life may continue.

Pastor Edinei shared some great news that happened at the Bible Baptist Church in Curitiba. Some of you may remember that Edinei used to play professional soccer and volunteered his time to reach out to neighborhood kids through a soccer training school. Well, Manuel is a young man now who, as an adolescent, attended this soccer school for a while. At that time he attended a Mormon church with his family. Through the relationship that began at the soccer school, Edinei won Manuel's respect. A few months ago, Manuel started attending worship services at Bible Baptist Church, where Edinei pastors. We rejoice to share that Manuel recently accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and now brings his new wife and sister to the services also.

We had the privilege to see several of our missionaries brothers and sisters at the Spring Missions Conference in Lexington in April. Although we work in the same country, we hadn't seen some of them for more than 18 years! It was also good to meet new folks for the first time. We are grateful for the words of encouragement that many of you shared with us.

My family was blessed in May to be with the family of Pastor Brian Anderson of the Gethsemane Baptist Church of Marengo, Ohio. The sweet members of the church there treated us graciously and we are thankful. The church sponsored a conference on bold evangelism and outreach to their growing community. We trust that God will bless by bringing many people into a personal relationship with Himself through the efforts of these dear folks.

We want to thank you all for your prayers and faithful support. We trust that you will be blessed of the Lord for your kindness.

In Christ's love,

Bobby, Charlene, Jessie, and Brennen Wacaser
