Dear Friends,

I missed sending in a report of our ministry activities for the month of August. I will share the highlights of August and a more detailed report for September.

In the beginning of August we held our second missions training workshop. Beyond our own thirty-six Project Life missionaries, we had eighteen new students participating. We have received calls from churches of several cities where we have worked in the recent past asking if some of their members might participate in our missions training workshops. Those eighteen new students came from various cities outside of our home base.

Also in August, immediately after the workshop, two of our motor homes and their teams took the highways into the interior of the state of São Paulo. The teams were wonderfully blessed of the Lord and several thousand people heard the gospel preached in the public parks and schools. Many of those who heard gave a public profession of faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.

The month of August finished on a very pleasant note. My older brother, Terry, came to visit and help in our works. He followed his pastor's example, Brother Mike Holland of the Ahava Baptist Church in Plant City. Last year Brother Mike and his wife Charlotte came and ministered to us and to our people. This year, Terry came and was a real blessing to us. He shared the gospel in the public schools in two different states together with our Project Life teams and with his niece (my daughter, Jessie) as his interpreter in one school. It brings tears of joy to my eyes just to reflect on this great privilege. To have the opportunity to see one’s family working together in love and harmony for the Cause of Christ, even over the boundaries of language and culture. Oh, how I thank the Lord for this gift of grace!

September was full of challenges and opportunities. Our evangelism teams worked in three different states. The Logos team worked in Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul and many there came to know Christ as Savior. The Alpha team worked in the interior towns of the state of Paraná. Our newest team, Agape, worked in the metropolitan region of our home base in Curitiba, Parana. This team's bus has not yet been converted into a motor home for highway travel. Actually, we are praying to be able to sell or trade this bus for one that is already equipped. The Agape team aided the Diadema Baptist Church, which we founded about eight years ago. This church has called a new pastor, Brother Arnaldo, who is doing a fine job there. The attendance is up and the church is reaching out to the neighborhood with the gospel. The church is in a low income community and the pastor shared with me the need to add a classroom for the children's Sunday school. Presently, they only have a single auditorium with no dividers for separate age group Bible study. If you would like to help with this goal, please send your offering designated, "Wacaser - Diadema Baptist Church".

The Lord continues to bless my family's and my health. We are doing well. We thank you all for your prayers, concern and support. God's blessings to you also.

In Christ´s love,

Bobby, Charlene, Jessie and Brennen Wacaser
