December 3, 2004
We thank God for you. He has given us the privilege to be where He is saving many souls and transforming lives, and we know that He used you to make this possible. Thank you for the prayers and generosity. Last month alone we were thrilled to see over 300 persons accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. Our pioneer evangelistic team, Project Life, worked in four cities in two different states. One of these cities has no Baptist church and the people were very open to the gospel presentation. It is our hope and plan to get teams of leaders trained to plant churches in these most needy locations.
While we are rejoicing in what God is doing in the interior towns of our region, we also rejoice in the continual growth going on in the church here in the capital. We have new visitors nearly every service, both in our prayer meetings and in Sunday worship services. Many of our own folks are getting the Word out, and their enthusiasm has become contagious. One aspect about this new growth that especially encourages us is that these visitors are coming because of the difference that they see in the personal lives of the members, not just because of interesting programs at the church building. This isn't always the case, and we have had our fair share of personal conflicts among members, but presently, we are enjoying the benefits of the harmony among them.
As we look forward to and plan for 2005, we ask for your earnest prayers on our behalf. We sense God's leading in various tasks that require steady and strong faith. These tasks will utterly fail if God does not come to our aid and supply our need. It is our understanding that He is honored by ministries and acts that are done by faith, faith in Him, not in ourselves. So we know that we will need the Lord to supply the resources and the guidance to accomplish His will through the ministries here. Please be prayer partners with us for His glory.
In Jesus' love,
Bobby, Charlene, Jessie and Brennen Wacaser
