Dear Friends,

Last week we concluded another round of theological studies at our Training Center.  There were 21 lay leaders who completed the course and another half a dozen or so who participated but without completing the requirements.  We will be giving a month-long break because of the end of year activities, camp, etc., and will resume our studies again in the middle of January.  Two young men of those in training came to me, sharing that they had sensed God's call upon them to serve in full-time ministry.  They are dedicated and talented men, and we trust that God will equip and use them in spreading the Gospel.

We have some very exciting events coming up in the beginning of 2006.  A group of youth and their leaders will be coming from Brandon, Florida to help in our ministries for a week.  We are expecting around eighty people from the Bell Shoals Baptist Church.  I have worked as translator for this group on several occasions in the past few years and they are a joy to be around.  We are looking forward to having them in our own city and trust that God will use them greatly to reach the lost with the Gospel.

Our Project Life evangelism team was in the interior of the state this month, sharing the Gospel in public schools and parks.  They had the opportunity to preach to over 3000 students and adults.  More than 200 persons made a public profession of faith in Jesus Christ.  Several of those persons have begun correspondence Bible courses.  It is our goal to get our trained leaders into these interior towns to establish New Testament churches.  The additional bus/motor-home that we are purchasing should be almost ready to go out into the interior in the beginning of next year.  We have to make some adaptations to the bus so that it is totally self-contained and functional for our purposes.  If you sense that God wants you to help with the cost of this work, please send your gift, labeled "Project Life".

Now, for you who are ready to be greatly challenged in the cause of Christ!  In order for us to attend to our increasing need of space for leadership training, we must move to larger facilities.  Since we have no accumulated funds, any location that we move to will cost more than we have resources to purchase.  We also sense that a move should not be so nearsighted that it would be necessary to repeat it in another few years.  So, we need help in this venture.  Any and every amount can and will be used.  In a project like this, there are small and inexpensive tools and materials that are necessary to the final objective.  But, for the lot itself, we will need some hefty donations.  We know that only God can work in the way that we are needing and I trust that He is doing that in your heart.  The owners of the property that we are considering have asked $900,000.  So, you see what I mean when I say that only God can work in the way we are needing?

We hope you have a wonderful holiday season.  God's richest blessings on you.

In Christ's love,

Bobby, Charlene, Jessie and Brennen Wacaser
