February 25, 2003
Dear Brothers and Sisters of the Savior .
Hope all is well with the readers of the B.F.M mission sheets during this mission sheet month- January 27 to February 25, 2003. I preached 8 sermons and had the pleasure of hearing five sermons. I preached at the 24th of March Baptist Church where I am the pastor and one at the Communion Baptist Church in the absence of the pastor, Asa Mark Bratcher . We were blessed with 3 professions of faith, a young teenage girl and two junior girls. Marie and I enjoyed the fellowship and communion with this church.
At the 24th of March Baptist Church, we received a lady by statement as she was a member of a Baptist Church years ago. Now she has returned to the Lord and attends in spite of the hardships of having a Catholic husband. In September of last year, she gave birth to twins, Anderson and Amanda. She also has two other girls, 11 and 8 years old. So she has her hands full with the twins. The ladies of the church try to help her with the babies. Her Catholic husband has never attended our services, but we are praying for him.
Brothers and Sisters, tomorrow I am to return to my heart doctor, after a absence of about 3 months as he dismissed me until the end of February. He wants to give me another check-up. Marie and I are thankful for the attention our heart doctors give us. Her doctor is on vacation and will not return until about the middle of March.
We heard about the recent snow and ice storm there. Makes us thankful that we escaped, even though it gets real hot here, sometimes over one hundred degrees. The weather has been more pleasant the last two days after a heavy rain. We are thankful for the Lords blessings upon us, and we thank each one of you for your prayers and support. May the Lord richly bless each one.
Yours in Christ, Harold and Marie Bratcher
