Dear Brothers and Sisters of the Savior:

Our prayer for each one of you is that the Lord will be merciful to you and bless you and cause His face to shine upon you so that you will help and do all you can do that the Lord’s way will be known on earth and His salvation among all nations.  Read Psalm 67. This MS month is the month of June.

During this month I heard 10 sermons preached and I preached a total of 10 sermons.  Nine of the ten were delivered at the 24th of March BC where I serve as pastor.  One of the eight was a funeral message with the body of a brother in Christ – Raimundo Sena Fragoso, present.  I baptized Brother Raimundo in the Buzzard river on September 12, 1965.  He became a member of the 24th of March BC on the 5th of December, 1999.  As a member he had his ups and downs.  During this year he suffered loss of memory.  He leaves behind two sons and three daughters and his widow, Aurea Belem Fragoso, a faithful member of the church.  The next day, Monday the 20th, I was honored by having the opportunity to bring a message about my life.  My message, in which I honored my Savior Jesus Christ was delivered in the chapel service of the Ida Nelson Baptist School and was heard by an estimated 100 people composed of several pastors and students of the Bible School.  This past Saturday the 25th I preached to some 27 people in the home of Joana Rodrigues Braz, celebrating her 75th birthday.

We are grateful to all of you who pray for us and contribute to the regular fund and or designated funds.  The following is a note from Marie:

We are having problems with our letters getting through.  Has been months since we have heard from some of our faithful writers.  We have heard that there has been a lot of corruption and stealing in the post offices here and throughout Brazil. I answer every letter we receive but have not received very many lately.  Some friends say they have written three or four times during one month’s time, which we have not received.  We are sorry because we do miss the news and keeping in touch.  One Monday morning recently in June we enjoyed the short visit of fellow missionaries, Bro. John and Alta Hatcher. They were visiting their sons here in Manaus and visited us for an hour, the day they left to return to their home.  We four enjoyed some “catching up news”.

Yours in the Service of the Savior,

Harold and Marie Bratcher
