Dear Brothers and Sisters of the Savior:

This Mission Sheet month is from July 3rd to August 1st. During this period of time I preached 9 sermons. Eight were preached at the 24th of March Baptist Church where I serve as the pastor. On the 14th of July I preached at the Celestial BC where Gilmar Moraes is the pastor.

Tuesday night the 23rd, Marie didn’t sleep well and didn’t feel well during the next day but she still attended Prayer Meeting that night. Thursday morning she informed me that she felt she needed to see her heart doctor. Asa Mark helped us and we three talked to Dr. Luiz Fernandes Chaves at the heart hospital. After examining Marie he advised us that she should be admitted immediately. She was and spent 4 nights and days in the Intensive Care Unit. On Monday afternoon she was placed in an apartment. There she spent the night and then Tuesday night we brought her home. Today she is better but still not completely recovered. Sunday morning the 28th, she received the electric shock treatment.

Thus we covet your prayers. We need the prayers of you who love us. We thank you and pray the richest blessings of the Lord to be with all of you who pray and contribute to Baptist Faith Missions. Continue to do so, please. We mention many names in our daily prayers. “God be with you till we meet again.”
