Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,
I can't believe that another month has gone by. We are so busy here. We are thankful we are able to be up and busy.
This month we all had bad colds and I almost got pneumonia. I am about back to normal. Ursula and Michele are doing well. Our kids and grandchildren in the States seem to all be doing well. We thank all who have prayed for our daughter and grandson. They have been doing well now for some time. The hardest part of being here is when folks back home have serious troubles. We just have to turn it over to the Lord. The flesh is weak at times. The Lord has been with us and continues to be for which we are so thankful.
We just received word that a family is sending an offering to help out in our newest mission point in Primavera do Leste. We are awaiting notification that it has arrived with anticipation. The Lord has open so many doors for our work the past two years. I just received word today that our church in Varzea Grande in the leadership of Pastor Jaireo has opened up yet another mission there in that area. That makes two that they now have.
Our new work at Jardim Fortaleza is starting to show signs of some real growth. Some have been saved and some are showing interest. It will not be an easy work. We knew that when we started. We felt very much impressed to work there. Nearly all of our works are in very difficult areas where nobody else wants to go it seems. Where sin is the most rampant is where God's grace most stands out. We see that in the life of the Apostle Paul. I guess we could all say that even about ourselves.
Next month we will write a longer article. We ask that you continue to pray for your missionaries and be a missionary where you are!
Yours in Christ,
Harold & Ursula Draper
