Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,

We greet you once again in the Name above every Name; our Lord Jesus Christ. We are here in the States for a short visit. We just signed Ursula up for her Medicare Card which will go into effect in four more weeks. She went to four different doctors last week and ran a lot of tests. Her arthritis is getting worse as time goes on along with her other problems but we have much to be thankful for because we are still able to keep going, even with the aches and pains. We appreciate all of the prayers and kindness you show to us.

We are making plans to go to the Spring Conference in Lexington, which will be history by the time you read this. It has been about three years, I believe, since we were there. We are looking forward to being there. That great church has been so faithful to host this Conference and does such a great job. The food, fellowship and feasting on the word are always great and we expect the same as usual.

We have some sad news from Brazil. One of the neighbors of the Faith Baptist Church in Novo Diamantino, Brother Lair, has passed away. We are happy to report that he was a saved man. We preached to him for so many years before the Lord opened his eyes and saved him. These last three or four years of his life were the happiest after he came to know the Lord. His parents came to Brazil from Rome, Italy and were very Catholic. Isn't it wonderful how our Heavenly Father calls out his sheep from diverse ethic and family backgrounds?

Also we heard today that Sister Teresa Santos, who recently had surgery for cancer again, does not have a good report. They were not able to get all of it. They took a part of both of her lungs but couldn't get it all. Pray for her. She is a great and faithful servant of our Master. I just called the Pastor of the Novo Diamantino church and they are having a special service tonight. It is the church's anniversary service. The Faith Baptist Church of Varzea Grande is coming up the 150 mile road to participate with them. They are expecting a great service.

We will take part in the wedding of our oldest grandson next month and then get Ursula's final doctoring done and head on back to Brazil. We thank all of you for your faithful support to our work and to Baptist Faith Missions. As you see on the news, our world is in a mess, but always has been since the tragic fall into sin in the Garden of Eden. Thank God for our Redeemer! God bless you all.

Yours in Him,

Harold & Ursula Draper
