Dear Fellow Pilgrims,
Greetings from Brasil. We trust all of you are being blessed in spite of the obstacles and trials of
life. We here in Brazil are blessed. Of course we have had our share of challenges this month. I wrecked
our good car. The brakes went out on it. I had the brakes worked on just before it happened. The good
news is the car is fixable and I didn't get a scratch. Also, we had a storm and it almost blew
the roof away at the Altos do Coxipo church. We are trying to get it fixed before the heavy rains come.
Our missions at Jardim Fortaleza and Primavera do Leste both had special services on November 2nd, which is Memorial day here in Brazil. Due to the distance between them we were only able to attend the services at the Mission in Jardim Fortaleza. Both of these works are showing signs of the Lord moving and souls are being saved. We hope to send a family to the Primavera work in January.
At both of these works we want to build Sunday School rooms. Due to the money exchange being unfavorable it will cost at least $4500 to build the four classrooms. If anyone feels led to help we will appreciate it. We are presently without a worker at the Altos do Coxipo church. He has moved on to help out in the Chacasra dos Pinheiros Baptist church where the pastor is dealing with serious health problems. The Boa Esperanca church is helping us out right now and plans to continue while we wait for the LORD to give us the right man for the job.
Ursula is having some problems with her arthritis. Right now she is going to her arthritis doctor and is running tests. She is a scrapper and doesn't give up. Pray for her as she come to mind.
I just remembered that today is election day there in the United States. As I stated in the beginning we are pilgrims in this wicked world. How much longer will the Lord put up with what is going on in the world and in our nation? We need the PRINCE OF PEACE to come. God bless all of you.
Yours in Him,
Harold & Ursula Draper
