Dear Fellow-saints,

Greetings in His Name; He who gives us the undeserved honor to address each other as "saints". This is the last letter to you during this year. How time flies by. I am now on Medicare and Ursula will be next year, the Lord willing. We have had such a blessed life. There have been many glad times and some sad and He has been with us through them all. Every day I thank my Lord for His amazing mercy, grace and love in my life. I'm sure that you who read this article do also.

I took Ursula to her doctor for her six month checkup and the results weren't as good as we had hoped for. Her blood problem is getting worse. She is not on blood thinners yet but may have to if things don't improve with medicine and diet by next May. Pray for her as she comes to mind. She had a light stroke five years ago and the doctors are trying to prevent this from happening again.

We had a court hearing about our being sued by our neighbor at the Altos do Coxipo Baptist church this past Tuesday. The judge threw it out of court, but the man can appeal if he so desires. We have had to file a slander suit against him just to defend ourselves. Continue to pray for us about this.

We have had several people look at the building we are trying to sell in Novo Diamntino but we really need to paint it and fix the water damage in order to make it presentable. We hope to get this done by the end of the year.

We are in contact with the Faith Baptist Church in Varzea Grande that left our fellowship some years ago and went astray into a new movement. They are wanting to talk about returning to fellowship with us. I will get together with them as soon as I get back in town and see where they stand. All of our other works are holding their own. We have some saved in one of our works about every month.

By the time you read this the Holidays will be over and the new year will be upon us. May we all stay close to the Lord this coming year. When I look around I see so much sin, sorrow and suffering. It makes me appreciate my present blessed standing and my future abode thanks to my precious Saviour and his shed blood on Calvary. God bless you all. Until next month.

Yours in Him,

Harold & Ursula Draper
