Dear Friends

Thank you for your prayers and support. We thank our Lord for your faithful help through the 51 years we have been here in Brazil. We do not run as fast but are still running the race. Daily, we offer ourselves to Him, body and soul, for we have been bought with a price.

This month two books written by Alta were printed; three thousand copies each of "HOW TO REAR CHILDREN" and "DEPRESSION, ITS CAUSES AND CURE". These books have been and are being a great blessing to many.

Since we have been here in the State of Parana (fifteen years), twelve works have been started six houses and properties for missions have been bought and five new building have been constructed. For the last three weeks Alta and I have gone to the city of Assai three times and have looked for property or building to rent. Last week a ninety-one year old man trusted Christ as Savior. There are three lots together we are going to price and one building we are going to see about renting temporarily. To buy or build will depend on our gifts and offerings.

Three persons have been baptized since my last letter. Marcio, the new pastor of the Urai church and his wife, Carol, are working at three places: Urai, Rancho Alegre and Susumo. Pray especially for Alta and me as we begin the new work in Assai.

We would like to stop but there is to much to lose to quit. There are too many who have never heard of Jesus who died for them.
