Dear Fellow laborers,
Hope this finds you enjoying blessings from the Lord. Thanks for your faithful support. The past month has been encouraging in a number of ways.
Rosana, the Brazilian lady with whom we recently started a Bible study in the Gospel of Luke brought a friend, Cristina. Cristina is a professor of Literature at one of the large Universities in the Area. She was very receptive and promised to return. She is also Brazilian but has lived in France for the past 33 years. Pray for the salvation these two ladies.
This week we are busy with Vacation Bible School. Judy, Amanda (our daughter-in-law) and Angela have done a terrific job of planning and things are going very well. My job is to help prepare crafts, troubleshoot when something goes wrong and photographer. The lessons are on the Creation. Thanks to a request from Emmanuel Baptist Church of Bellbrook, OH, we are in the process of preparing a DVD of our work for their Vacation Bible School in June. They have selected us as the missionaries for their missionary emphasis. The DVD will be oriented toward children (which means adults can probably understand it as well). There will be five segments of about 5 to 8 minutes each. If you think that this might be good for your church, contact us.
Claire, a lady who has recently begun attending and bringing her five children, is showing a genuine interest in the gospel. Last Sunday she asked questions after service and stayed for about 2 hours as I shared the gospel with her. She said that she had spent the past 36 years busy with many things and had ignored the most important things. Her children are ages 6 to 12 and are also very attentive in Sunday school. Could you pray for them?
Thanks again for your faithful prayers and support.
