Dear praying friends,

Another month has come and passed so quickly and we are now past the Christmas season and into the New Year. We hope that each of you have a blessed New Year and more active in service to the Lord than ever before. May we ever be faithful to the works that the Lord has called us to do, whether here in the States or overseas. I Corinthians 15:58 states, "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord." May we continue to be faithful to the Lord in whatever capacity He calls us to.

Before reporting on the ministry, we ask you to please pray for peace in the nation of Kenya at this time. An election was held in the country on December 27th, and because of the results, there has been much violence and tribal unrest. Please pray for the country, its leaders, and the officials who are attempting to restore peace. Psalms 34:14 states, "Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it."

May this be the desire of the Kenyan people now, as currently there is much unrest. Please pray also for the other missionaries that are presently in the country, for their protection, and also provision from the Lord. In Psalms 4:8, the Bible says, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety."

Concerning our stateside ministry, please pray for us, as we are now very busy presenting our ministry to churches and individuals. We are excited to present our ministry and would be interested in sharing with you about our ministry in Kenya. We have recently made a DVD presentation of our ministry, so even if we are not able to personally come and see you, we can definitely send you a DVD copy of our ministry. If you would be interested in receiving this, please either respond to the e-mail or contact us at the address listed. We wish to thank anyone who is interested and covet your prayers for our ministry.

We are pleased to announce that my wife's pregnancy is proceeding well. Please pray for the continued development of our little one, and also for the strength and health of my wife. Furlough can become difficult at times, so please pray especially for my wife and baby, that they would have the help and strength from the Lord that they need. Psalms 84:5a states, "Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee..." and Psalms 22:19 says, "But be not thou far from me, O LORD, O my strength, haste thee to help me." This is certainly our prayer for the days ahead, both for our furlough, our ministry in Kenya, and also our new addition to the family.

In conclusion, please pray for our ministries in Kenya, the nationals that are leading them, and also for their safety and protection during this time. Please pray that each leader would depend on the Lord, remain faithful to the work, and continue in prayer for the ministries that are in Kitale. Please also pray for our financial needs, as we need an additional $450 per month for our ministry. Some previous support has been lost, and also we have new needs, as we have a child on the way. We trust the Lord with all of our needs. Psalms 62:8 says, "Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before Him: God is a refuge for us." If you would be interested in supporting our ministry, our contact information is listed on the side. God bless you and have a wonderful New Year.

In Kenya,

Nathan and Carrie Radford
