Dear Friends,
Anita and I have enjoyed so much our several weeks here in the States being with our new grandson, Jack Michael Puckett. He is now six weeks old and growing fast! We rejoice that our children and grandchildren are all doing well. Having grandkids makes us more aware of how fast the years have flown by and how little time is left to serve the Lord. We have enjoyed visiting a few of our supporting churches while here. At present we are in Sevierville, Tennessee, where I am taking a week long modular course in Christian Counseling. As soon as the course is over we head back to Peru.
We are really looking forward to having a group visit us this month from the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Belleville, Ohio where Brother Darrell Messer is the pastor. Anita and I always enjoy having friends come down and visit with us, see this beautiful country, and observe the great work that God is doing in Peru.
Next year we will be in the States for our regular furlough, from March to August, and we are looking forward to visiting all of our friends and supporting churches at that time. We will try to make as many of the conferences as possible so please let us know when your mission conference is planned and when you might like to have us come and share with you about the Lord’s work in Peru.
The different works around the country that we support are all doing well, according to the last reports I received. Two months ago I reported that the wife of pastor Carlos Gonzales had been diagnosed with cancer. The last report was that she is now able to eat and hold the food down and has gained back a few pounds. Maria still needs your prayers that God’s grace might be manifested in her life so that others might see Christ through this ordeal.
Until next month.

Sheridan and Anita Stanton
