April 3, 2004
Dear Friends,
Anita and I continue to travel and visit as many churches as we can between her hand operations. Pastors, it will not be possible to visit many of you due to the limited time frame we have had this short furlough. I hope you will understand and be forgiving. We plan to come back again in two years and stay longer and visit all of our supporting churches.
Anita's hands are doing very well. She will get the stitches out of her right hand on April the 8th. Then it will be several more weeks of recuperation. Thank you for your prayers for her. Please continue to remember our son, Lt. Joshua Stanton, in your prayers. He is over in the Iraq war theater. Our daughter, Leah, is getting married in May, and we would appreciate your prayers for her and her fiancee as they prepare to start a new life together.
Reports from Peru are very good. Our church in Huanuco had ten trust Christ as their Savior this past month. The mission works are reporting good attendance. Thank you all for your prayers and support. We hope to see many of this month at the Spring Conference in Lexington the 19th-21st of April.
Until next month.
Your servants in Peru,
Sheridan and Anita Stanton
