GREETINGS From Alpha & Omega Children´s Home in Garca, Brazil
PRAISE GOD for what He has done here in Brazil in August, September, & October!

Dear Friend,

Hello! I pray the Holy Spirit will fill your heart with praises to the Lord from the time you wake up until the time you go to sleep (Colossians 3:17). It is such a blessing to be here serving the Lord at Alpha & Omega Children´s Home in Garca, Brazil. Thank you so much for partnering with me in the wonderful work God is doing here in Brazil.
I´ve been here in Brazil since June, and God has done marvelous things in response to your prayers. Many Sundays I get to go to Alvinlandia (a city close to Garca) and help with our church plant in that city. We have a service for kids at the local school, and then we have a service for adults in various homes. Praise the Lord that on August 31st, Bruno, Eliezer, and Douglas (three young boys) got down on their knees with me and prayed to receive Christ as Savior.

Praise the Lord for Jessica, a young girl I was able to witness to at a hospital. She accepted the Lord as her Savior and was so happy to receive a Bible. The next time I saw her she told me she had been reading her Bible. Praise the Lord for two nurses and Barbara and Oneida and Marcio who were also saved at a hospital.

The kids here at Alpha & Omega play a lot of soccer. It is such a joy to go with them to their games and pass out tracts, Bibles, and gospel bracelets with them. I love to hear the kids come up to me and say, "Stephanie, we need more Bibles and tracts to pass out to the people." Just recently, the kids and I were sharing the gospel in the stands, and I asked two ladies if they had a Bible. They said no, so we gave them Bibles. God gave me the opportunity to share the plan of salvation with these older ladies (Jenny and Ceda) and help them receive Christ as their Savior.

Right now I´m teaching English classes for all of the students at the Christian school here at Alpha & Omega. It is a wonderful opportunity to teach them Bible verses and Biblical principles in English. Almost every weekday, some of the kids and I go out to share the Gospel. Please keep praying that God will save more people and bring more people into the church through our evangelistic efforts with the kids.

Praise the Lord for a very special young man of God here named Alexandre. Please pray for him. He´s 15 years old and has such a tender and true heart for the Lord. He hopes to go to the States and study the Bible in the future. His dream is to have a home like Alpha & Omega one day. Alexandre goes with me witnessing often and is a tremendous help to me. I won´t forget him saying, "Stephanie, when you go, please leave me the supplies to make gospel bracelets, so I can continue taking the kids out witnessing when you are no longer here." Please pray with me that God will plant such a deep fire to share the gospel in the hearts of these young people, like Alexandre.

Praise the Lord that through your prayers and support, I was able to buy one good boombox for each of the five halls here at Alpha & Omega. These boomboxes give the children the privilege of praising the Lord through Chrisitan music when they work, play, and rest here at the home. My heart is to show the kids that living for Jesus is so much more fun and so much more rewarding than living for this world. It´s music to my heart to hear these kids singing praises to the Lord throughout the day.

Thank you for helping me purchase Christian books in Portuguese for the kids and Christian posters and games for the Christian library I´m trying to start here at the home. My prayer is to plant the Word of God in the hearts of these children in as many ways as possible.

PLEASE PRAY...

• That God would save more people and continue to help the children here at the home grow in the Lord.
• That God would provide more Christian books in Portuguese for the Christian library I´m seeking to start here. Thank you for helping me be able to purchase two couches, a rug, and a lamp for the Christian library here at Alpha & Omega Children´s Home. My desire is to make the library look like a living room, where the kids feel comfortable to read, play Christian board games, make gospel bracelets, listen to Christian music, and just relax in the precious Presence of God!
• That God would provide more Bibles, tracts, and gospel bracelets for the kids and I to use to share the gospel.
• That God would provide the right visa I need. Right now, I can´t stay in Brazil past December 9th. .
  
• That God would provide the money I need for my insurance and plane ticket back to the States in December.
• That God would bless my precious parents and brother. My father, who is a Navy Chaplain, will soon be starting a ministry at a Navy chapel in Virginia Beach, VA, as the head Protestant Chaplain (Lord willing).
